Terrorists seeking attention have struck again, this time hitting Glasgow Airport. Thankfully no one was injured other than the two driving the vehicle. Not sure why these people believe that attacking innocent people is fighting the cause but hopefully this isn't going to be a wave of incidents. I won't write too much into it but I am sure that this will have a knock on affect. With my family heading to Turkey on Monday I expect they will be delayed due to security precautions in place!

Last night was a learning night for me
Last night was a learning night for me, I decided to have a drink before I headed out. This was a normality before I got with my girl and tonight I figured that it would prove to be cheaper. Got to into the drink though and quickly polished off almost a bottle of Vodka. Not good! Especially when I knocked over a drink in the hotel room, in all honesty though I wasn't proper off it but my bearings had gone a little.
It's a decent place although nothing exceptional, beats going to the same places though and the music was good. Seems like Spice Girl fever is building up as there were a few of their tunes played! Where the pace of my drinking had slowed down I was getting sober and we divided into two groups and then we headed off shortly after that. Good night but I'll know in future to pace myself, of course!

A reminder
Below are some pictures from the week, my girl being the queen of Cider stands out for me. Tonight I think we are heading to Bromley and then off to Maidstone to a club, plans change all the time but I am just going to roll with it and have a few drinks before we head out so that I am in the mood!

Bring in the new
The bells, the bells
Anyway had a lazy day in doors really, although I had to head to the bank to transfer some money to my children's mother as required. She is on the knock though so I have stepped down on how much I give her as I feel that she is taking advantage of her situation. I'm not being a bad dad here, I want to spend more money on my children so that I can get them more when they are with me and have more days out. Going to also apply for all my bank charges from my previous two accounts to be given back to me. Not 100% sure of the process but if it is a success expect to see the details posted up here!
As today is Wednesday it's family day, normally I am at work when the other side of the babies family visit. Today is a different story though, I didn't really want to hang about but my girl wanted me to for support. Now I am not one to be flaunting around the house like I invented sliced bread so wasn't sure what to do. Plus I didn't want it to be portrayed like I was a spy listening to what was said. The plan was to watch a DVD but they arrived before I had the chance to set it up. Didn't want to turn it on just as they were there and blare the volume by accident so just straightened my hair for a bit as you do and then laid down and fell asleep by the mirror haha. This is all true! I was awoken by my girl after about twenty minutes as she came in jumping on me and saying that she felt relaxed knowing I was there. Sweet, first time me falling asleep has been met with that response. Anyway I was up there until they left, feeling like Quasimodo in the bell tower haha!!
After this we headed to my parents as it's my Dad's birthday today, on the journey there we passed my brother who informed us he would be there at 7pm. As it was 7pm already and he had to drop his friend off I figured see you at 9pm! We headed to the house and got into the birthday vibe, the amount of candles on the cake was very impressive. The amount of cake my boy ate was even more impressive though and it had an affect on him as well as he became Hyper Boy and was racing about in his pants like a lunatic. The baby is getting familiar with the birthday song now as this has well and truly been a birthday week with the amount of cakes doing the rounds. My sister arrived from shopping in Primark around this time and she was like a wild woman. I need to go shopping with her as she has loads of enthusiasm. She took over the birthday with her 'catwalk' haha. She wrote a well good poem in her birthday card though which was touching.
After rounding up the children it was time to take them home with a large pile of clothes from my girls as we have built up a lot of their stuff lately. Dropped the children off to their mother who was at her home with her fella and left her with my daughter and Hyper Boy who had reached Level 9. Good luck! We headed home after this and just crashed out to CSI. I am at work now bored, still feeling well tired as the baby woke up well early this morning. Didn't want to come in really but figured I would face the music. Plus with migration underway I don't want to leave the people on my team feeling the pressure of the build up of calls. Wanted to go and take the children to see Shrek 3 tonight as my girls parents are over to stay for a few days meaning we have a babysitter for the youngest. She is still a little young to enjoy the cinema but I doubt it will be long. Better do some work anyway, waiting for the guy on the phone to restart his PC as it just crashed. Life goes on..............

Screwing my head on!

Hmm so Paris Hilton is free
Is it me or does this kind of look similar to a Big Brother eviction, the media attention surrounding Paris Hilton is amazing. I am sure that from her time in jail she will now be in high demand and she will earn a tidy sum of money. Haven't seen any of the evening papers yet but I have a feeling that this will be front page news !!

Priorities Joe, Priorities Yeah !!!
Main news today is that Thierry Henry has signed for Barcelona, although it was long expected that he would move on it is a shame to see him go. He is one of the best finishers and it is fitting that he sees out his career at what many including myself believe is the best team in the world. Barca will be formidable next season and I am looking forward to seeing them in the Champions League. Anyway, the other big news today is that me and my girl are heading to IKEA. Work was the usual on a Monday with there being lots to do but I was looking forward to checking out what was available.
I don't think my girl thought I was too interested but although there wasn't a lot on show that truly caught my attention I did think that there was a lot that had potential. I need to synchronise myself with her though so that we are both on the same level. Yesterday's shopping adventure was anything but that. What amazed me about IKEA is that they have a restaurant. Kind of a put off was the guy serving the food as he started biting his arm while serving up our food. Urrk! Food was alright'ish though and we managed to pick up a few bits and just in the process of unpacking now. I'm feeling well tired though and this will be my last sentence of the day.....

From here to there, we're everywhere !!!
Keeping my children occupied is no easy task but when you have people around who interact with them it makes my task easier. My girls parents were excellent with my children and although my boy gets a little carried away sometimes it was a great weekend and good them meeting her family for the first time with no real incident. Breathes relief haha...
This afternoon we were invited to one of my girls friends babies first birthdays, that's a mouthfull!! We had to head locally to where we lived for this and sure enough there was someone there that I knew. I have known him a few years as well and he is the partner of the person my girl knew. Small world hey! Anyway where I was driving I couldn't get well on it with the drink but the children got well on it with the Jelly and Ice Cream!
After here we headed home and after a visit from some friends we watched 28 Days Later! Love this movie and it is so much better than the sequel, we were gripped and I was so scared that I am now cowering off to bed with my tail between my legs to catch some sleep for work tomorrow!
