Basically I mean that if I train myself up to a point where the industry needs me then I have a higher earning potential. For instance there is a lot of noise about AJAX at the moment and I am interested in this but I want to be able to get ahead of that. Why can't I be the one that starts the pace, earns the money and then moves on to the next thing before momentum slows and it becomes the standard. These questions will always remain hung on a long stick attached to my back and hanging from string just out of reach before my eyes. I will get you... In the news today was all about the internet pirates and how they are going to cut off people's connections who download music and movies. AS IF!!! I can't see this happening anytime soon as there are so many ways to get around it. Surely the problem lies with those uploading the music as there are the ones distributing. Then you have unsecure wireless networks so anyone could be doing this even to YOU! It will be hard to track and even harder to stamp out completely! The industry is changing but what really does the future have in store....
