So today was the day that I finally got to take the boy to watch Chelsea play, was really excited about it and so was he. Along for the fun was my brother who was also pumped for what were expecting to be a walk in the park for the team. The adventure began at my mum's from there we speed walked to the train station. Passing my brother and daughter on the way down, she had gone down the shops with him to pick up some bits. The trains were running on time until we got on the Jubilee Line and were held up for the best part of twenty minutes. It made for a teeth gritting journey to the match as I was worried we would miss a goal but as it worked out we were only a couple of minutes late getting into the stadium. The match was great and the wicked part about it was that Frank Lampard got his 100th goal for the club!! My boy has that statistic to bring up with his friends in future now ha! The match wasn't a cruise though as Huddersfield equalised before halftime making the tie interesting but it was always going to be a blue day and Lampard struck again followed by Kalou!! Had a really enjoyable day and hope to have many more days like this in the future!!!!
