Today we were on the fence whether to go to Brighton or to head into central London. As the weather updates suggested we were in for a real pick and mix of what was in store from above we decided to stay local. And instead of braving the Trains and Buses we drove, destination being Battersea Park Zoo! Didn't even know this existed until I read about it online searching for Easter activities for the kids. Within ten steps of paying and walking in with the Easter Egg Hunt books the kids had already lost one book ha!
The quest around the Zoo was to locate all the colourful Eggs and answer the questions about the animals. We got on with just the one book walking about and freezing while we went about our journey checking out all of the animals. It's a funny old place here as it was as though everyone with no coordination and common sense had descended here for the day and boy were they hard work. Made me wonder whether locking the people in the cages would have been more appropriate. Anyway it was a good Zoo for the kids to enjoy although I think next time we will pay that bit extra to go to London or Howletts.
