Today was busy, had to head over to football to start the day, which meant leaving the girls behind as Baby was off on her adventures. One thing that leaves me scratching my head is the lack of practicality involved with the adventures. Surely a child's seat would be better than the pile of gifts, value is the key word here! It's like Mr. Potato Head, you only have a limited allocation to add all of those spare parts before all the arms and legs become a collection of accessories and appreciation goes out of the window. We're double choca Mocha with it!!
Joining myself and junior Ronaldo was my brother who is just recovering from an injury he acquired from playing football. It was the first time he had come to watch and although it started slowly, reason being the Boy lacked attention for thirty minutes trying to wind up the trainers. Then they switched the game and he started to show more participation with the action. By the time the matches started he was in a good mood. Started in goal but soon came out on pitch where he played better. I think the trainers favour him a little, setting him up and willing him on! One boy was full of it and uttered the words 'You can't tackle me because I am the best!' Amazing confidence and even more impressive was that Boy jumped in and won the ball. If only he would be more focused for the duration!
Next up we collected the Women and headed to horse riding, my daughter is keen to ride for longer but for the time being she will have to wait until I get her into Pony Club as otherwise it all works out too expensive. It's impressive how quickly she is picking it up and riding much bigger horses with a lot of confidence. She is always embarrassed about out interaction from the side of the cabin. Probably because I was waving around like the starter of a Mexican Wave! Still she enjoyed herself and can't wait until she is able to stay for a lot longer. Baby has just arrived home now and we're off out to the shops, as Cage the Elephant put it there really Ain't No Rest For The Wicked...
