Image via WikipediaAlex Ferguson what a legend, watched the Frost Interview tonight and this man has single handily built my football history. As long as I can remember it's been all about Sir Alex and Manchester United, building his legacy and providing entertainment through a very illustrious career. The players he has had the privilege to work with have been amazing.
People speak of Avram Grant never really having the clout to fill the boots of Mourinho but whoever eventually takes over from Alex Ferguson will always have his shadow over them. In fact I feel that his achievements will never be surpassed. He has been at a top club like United for many years where others change them like their team strips. It was good viewing and made me jealous of their success.
Chelsea have had a good few years but I am concerned with how things are at present. Mainly us not having the lure of other big clubs, has the way Chelsea have treated players and managers in the past had an adverse affect. The once attractive Blues only a few seasons ago now need someone to steady the ship before it starts to sink. One things certain it seems unlikely we will have a manager at Chelsea for even a quarter of the time Ferguson has been at Old Trafford. I need to make it my aim over the next few seasons to catch a Chelsea/United clash to be in the presence of the great man himself!!
