Image via WikipediaPhil Scolari has today met the media for the first time having taken over at Chelsea on July 1st and has stated his intentions for the season. He plans to hold onto both Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard who is still being heavily linked to being reunited with Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge. There are still a whole host of names being touted on the Chelsea shopping list but no moves have been made other than the signing of Deco from Barcelona.Big Phil has insisted that he can cope with the pressure at Stamford Bridge, he has also stated that he values all the competitions that Chelsea participate in and will try to win as many as possible. Scolari has confirmed that John Terry will remain as captain which must be a relief for him after the uncertainty surrounding England and the rotation policy currently in effect. The start of the season is still a few weeks away but already I am looking forward to the action and feel that we will mount a strong challenge!!
