After Chelsea Football Club sacked Phil Scolari last week I was disappointed with the decision and felt that Big Phil should have been given more time. The modern game has made it so that managers have to find instant success otherwise they are shown the exit. Chelsea were prompt and confirmed Guus Hiddink as temporary coach until the end of the season but then begins the interview process in the summer for another coach.Guus Hiddink has an impressive record as a manager and below I have highlighted his club honours at management level. In the post-Mourinho era hopefully Hiddink will be the man to lead us forward but with the Premier League title as good as Manchester United's the realistic target has to be the FA Cup/Champions League.
With United facing Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan hopefully they will be the team to finally beat the World Champions. Next week the Champions League returns and there are some great clashes but first we have to concentrate on an Aston Villa team with the potential this year to break up the so called Big-Four. Over to Guus Hiddink...
