Rewind, Reformat, Reconfigure?

Recently I tested for a software migration to upgrade several venues across the country that we use for training our customers. I tested on a virtual machine and was confident there would be no issues with the upgrade.

I also had a conversation with the software vendor and they reassured me that what I had done would be adequate. All systems go.. or not!

Received an email today informing that for some reason the installation of the upgrade has rendered another package unusable. It's not as though the problem is difficult to resolve it's just the inconvenience!
