Posterous is a microblogging platform integrated with other social media tools such as Flickr, Twitter, and Facebook. The platform has become popular for lifestreaming and is particularly designed for mobile blogging.I have embraced the platform and feel through mobile technology, like the iPhone for example, that there is significant potential to reach the mainstream. I interact with friends and family through social networks, but I would like them to share experiences with more depth than just a brief status update or photo album. Posterous offers an ideal outlet for that purpose, remember there are more sites than just Facebook on the Internet..
When social media expert Steve Rubel declared he was moving his blogging activity entirely to Posterous the service received widespread attention. It has continued to grow in popularity and lately it seems that everyone has a Posterous. I have wrote previously about direction and looking to expand into other areas for lifestreaming and I now have the platform to achieve that.
