Three Little Words

February 14th represents the celebration of love and affection between intimate companions. According to Wikipedia, heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid are symbols of modern Valentine's Day.

I agree with Wikipedia that handwritten valentines have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards but there's always room to enhance and introduce innovation. The gifts we exchanged were personal and the appreciation was rewarding!

The weekends appear to be getting shorter, the children's activities passed and the hourglass that represents time flowed quickly passed! We spent the weekend together but were only alone when we travelled to Shoreditch, Vibe Bar provided a live performance and an entertaining backdrop that was both inspirational and disturbing! Several restaurants beckoned but the Brick Lane bagels were the most desired and didn't disappoint. The journey home provided an intimate detour and I'm sure that I smelt bacon at one point...
