Vote of Confidence

I have endured numerous disappointments recently with several applications being declined for higher education at university. Being a mature student I'm not entirely sure of the process, the requirements and also applying late wasn't ideal so it's been a learning experience. A few courses have offered a foundation although many of these appear to be for international students only. Today presented something to become excited about though because Leeds Metropolitan University confirmed that they had received my application and the Course Leader would like to interview me by telephone later this week. I'm optimistic because the interview will be an informal one discussing my knowledge and experience of the media in relation to the course. The other applications have unsuccessful due to insufficient/relevant qualifications, hopefully this will be the opportunity that will result in an offer because that would be amazing!
