With students preparing for end-of-term exams, my partner, who is currently revising for her A-Level exams, decided to host a party to celebrate reaching the final stage of secondary school. A levels are part of the Further Education process in the United Kingdom and can be studied in the last two years (12 and 13) in Sixth Form at secondary school.
Any celebration wouldn't be complete without the introduction of drinking games which involve the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Drinking games vary widely in scope and complexity, although the purpose of most is to become intoxicated as quickly as possible. The book I received for my birthday containing many popular games wasn't available so we decided to revisit death card! This game has serious potential, I enjoy the constant changes and modifications. It's a work-in-progress but I will definitely fine tune the rules over the next few months. Although that's what makes the game so enjoyable!
When the game finished, the outcome was emphatic and the party took on an entirely different identity. Quite what was so appealing about the toilet, I will probably never understand but I decided to avoid playing board games. Professor Plum with the lead piping? Anyway, I attempted to create another game involving Ninjas and the sound that elephants make?! Basically Ninjas drink the contents of any unattended drinks and to show approval they seek the acceptance of the elephants. It made sense when I was playing the game but now I'm confused and need to sleep...
